Francesco Palmese
イタリアの有名なPMUアカデミーで5年間マスターを務めた後、自分のアカデミーを開講。
PMUの国際大会の審査員として招待され、イタリア全土で自身のテクニックを教育。
1年間で100人以上のアーティストを指導し、パンデミック時にはPMUのデジタルシミュレーションやソーシャルメディア用の美しい写真の作り方を考案し、オンラインコースでの教育をスタート。
アートメイクのモデルから始まったキャリア
Next in PMU（以下、NP）：アートメイクに興味を持った理由やアートメイクでのキャリアを始めたきっかけは何ですか？
Francesco：子供の頃から、リアルな肖像画を描くのが好きでした。タトゥーアーティストになったとき、ローマにあるPMUアカデミーを発見し、頭皮のアートメークのモデルを申し出たのです。そこから、PMUへ情熱を持ちはじめました。
Francescoさんにとって、アートメイクとは？
NP：Francescoさんにとってアートメイクとは何ですか？
Francesco：PMUはタトゥーであり、描画であり、男女を問わずすべてのクライアントに私の美のビジョンを伝える手段でもあるのです。彼らは私のセンスを信頼し、眉、目、唇の最適な形と色を私が常に知っていることを理解しています。だからこそ、彼らは私のところにやってくるのです。
得意分野や、普段の施術で力を入れていることは？
NP：普段の施術で力を入れていることは何ですか？
Francesco：私はすべてのアートメイク技術を専門としていますが、私の専門分野は間違いなく乳輪のマイクロピグメンテーションです。私は、完全にリアルな仕上がりをもたらす特別なプロセスで、独自の乳輪タトゥー技術を開発しました。
世界中を飛び回る教育者になる
NP：PMUアーティストとしての今後の展望を教えてください。
Francesco：私の目標は、この素晴らしい仕事を楽しみ続け、PMUに情熱を持ち、この新しい職業で人生を変えたいと思っているすべての人々に教えるために、世界中を飛び回ることです。また、生徒たちが アートメイクをするための最も簡単な方法を学べるように、私の創造的なテクニックを共有することも目指しています。

Francesco：クライアントの価格は気にせず、結果に集中すること。後で自分にふさわしい報酬について考えればいいのです。

Today, we present you an interview with Francesco Palmese, an artist from Italy, who specializes in all types of permanent makeup. Currently, he teaches many artists and his goal is to continue being active globally!

Francesco Palmese
After 5 years of being a master in a well known Italian PMU academy, he decided to open his own. He has been invited to judge international PMU championships and has travelled all over Italy to teach his technique to others. In a year, he has trained over 100 artists. During the pandemic, he started teaching online courses, invented PMU digital simulation, and even created beautiful pictures for social media content.
A Career That Started By Becoming a Permanent Makeup Model
Next in PMU（NP）：What made you interested in Permanent Makeup and how did you begin your career in this industry?
Francesco：Since I was a child, I’ve always loved drawing realistic portraits. When I became a tattoo artist I discovered a PMU academy in Rome and I offered to model for them for a scalp pigmentation treatment. That is where my passion for PMU began.
What Does Permanent Makeup Mean to You?
NP：What does Permanent Makeup mean to you?
Francesco：PMU is tattooing, it’s drawing and it is also a way to communicate my vision of beauty to all my clients, both male and female. They come to me because they trust in my taste and they know that I’ll always know the best shape and colour for their eyebrows, eyes and lips.
Areas of Expertise
NP：What is your main focus of treatment?
Francesco：I specialise in all PMU techniques but my area of expertise is definitely areola micropigmentation. I have created my own areola tattooing technique with an extraordinary process which results in a completely realistic effect.

NP：What are the future prospects for your career as a PMU artist?
Francesco：My goal is to continue to enjoy this amazing job and to travel around the world to teach all the people that are passionate about PMU and that want to change their lives with this new career path. I also aim to share my creative techniques so that my students can learn the easiest way to carry out PMU.
NP：We hope that by sharing your creative techniques, many people will find their passion and talent in permanent makeup. We look forward to the bright future that many people will have under your education.
Message to Young Artists
NP：Can you give a message to young artists to further develop their role within the PMU industry?
Francesco：Don’t worry about client prices, focus on results. Later on you can then think about the compensation you deserve.
