Today we present Linh Nham, a PMU artist in Vietnam. In the past, she experienced a major failure to a client and almost fell apart. We interviewed her about her journey from the setback to revival, so please read to the end.

Linh Nham
In 2016, she started to resonate with winning the Asian Gold Award in Korea and reaching the Top 10 of the Golden Hand Asian Beauty Award.
In 2017, she was chosen to be a teaching assistant of Grand Master Huong Phan – The place that trained domestic and international PMU masters.
She has been invited to take on many judges positions at many major domestic and international competitions such as: Vietnam – Korea beauty contest, Best Talent Golden Master, Best Face PMU season 2, Fire Show PMU 1 – 2 nationwide.From 2018 to now, She has been continuously invited to perform her technique at the Global PMU 2019 competition, the Red Max Championship held annually in Russia, and PMU Gold Conference 2020 in Poland and INTERIM in Russia, PMU Congress in Ukraine,…
From 2016 to now, she is proud of being one of the most prestigious and most known Academies in Vietnam with thousands of beloved students, and every year training a lot of young talented artists that became famous after graduating from Eli Nham Academy.
Why did you decide to pursue this career?
Linh:I wanted to change my life,to pursue a career that could provide a better life for my family and at first it was honestly about the income, but after I got into the PMU industry it started to give me cheerful feelings and gave me motivation, not only could I provide a better life for my family but got the opportunity to give out knowledge to thousands of student that attended my academy.
What is a moment in your Permanent Makeup journey that was most memorable to you?
Linh:That would be my first client ever , I did micro blading technique on her and it was a disaster I was miserable I wanted to quit PMU I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat but after years of experience I tried to make it up to my first client and tattooed her trendy lips technique (name of my technique) and she was so happy she introduced me to many customers. So that would be my most memorable moment.

What do you think is the most important aspect in Permanent Makeup? Why?
Linh:Do your work with honesty in general every aspect is important.
What Does Permanent Makeup Mean to You?
Linh:One of the most important to me, PMU to me right now is my passion, happiness it’s something I can’t live without it.
Future Prospects of your career as a PMU artist and the PMU industry
Linh:Build an International PMU Academy, having a good reputation.
Message to Beginner Artists & Japanese PMU Artists
Linh:Don’t Rush anything and always be patient. Precious things take time. You should expand your knowledge internationally and always update to new techniques, always go with the trend or try to come up with a new technique that nowhere around the PMU industry has.
