From Beautician / Therapist to PMU Artist

Next in PMU（以下、NP）：What made you interested in Permanent Makeup and how did you begin your career in this industry?
アートメイクに興味を持った理由やアートメイクでのキャリアを始めたきっかけは何ですか？
Dora：I have always been interested in the beauty industry. I worked as a beautician, aromatherapist and makeup artist, which led to my interest in PMU. One of my guests once said that I would definitely be good in this field and then I was captivated.
美容業界に興味があり、美容師・アロマセラピスト・メイクアーティストとして働きました。それらの経験もありアートメイクに興味を持ちました。お客様に「この業界で絶対にうまくいくだろう」と言われ、魅了されました。

NP：What does Permanent Makeup mean to you?

Dora：For me, Permanent Makeup means highlighting the natural charm of the face.
私にとって、アートメイクは顔の生まれつきの魅力を引き出す手段です。

NP：What is your main focus of treatment?

Dora：The Nano Hair Stroke technique has always been the closest to my heart.

Future Prospects
今後の展望
NP：What are your future prospects for your career as a PMU artist?
PMUアーティストとしての今後の展望を教えてください。
Dora：My goal is to launch my own products on the market and to use these products to educate the students who come to me in the simplest way. In addition, the most important thing for me is the maximum satisfaction of the needs of my own guests.
私の目標は、市場で自分の製品を発売して、これらの製品を使用して、私のもとに来る学生を最も簡単な方法で教育することです。さらに、私にとって最も大切なことは、クライアントのニーズに最大限の満足度で応えることです。
What are three things you cannot live without?
生活に欠かせない3つのものは
NP：Name three things that are essential to your daily life.
普段の生活に欠かせないもの3つを教えてください。
Dora：There are 3 things I can’t live without: My husband, the PMU, and the closeness to nature.
夫、アートメイク、そして自然にふれあう時間は生活に欠かせません。
Spend free time actively
余暇もアクティブに楽しく過ごす
NP：What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
余暇は何をして過ごしていますか？
Dora：Being active in nature, doing sports, being by the sea, cycling, swimming, snooping, cooking, eating well, playing tennis, traveling, getting to know new cultures, discovery, dancing, laughing, playing on piano.
自然の中でアクティブでいること、スポーツをする、海の近くに行く、サイクリング、スイミング、調べものをする、料理、よく食べる、テニスをする、旅行する、新しい文化を勉強する、新しい知識を得る、ダンス、笑う、ピアノを弾く、など色んなことをして過ごしています。
Message to Young Artists
若いアーティストへメッセージ
NP：Can you give a message to young artists to further develop their role within the PMU industry?
今後のアートメイク業界のさらなる発展のためにも、ぜひ若いアーティストさんへメッセージを一言いただけますか？
Dora：I would recommend newbies to start only if they can do it wholeheartedly, with sincere love. Don’t let money and success be the primary motivation, but put your heart and soul into it, which will lead to success.
初心者には誠実な愛で、心を込めて行うことから始めることをおすすめします。お金や成功を第一のモチベーションにせず、心を込めてやることが成功につながります。

NP：As a final note, please leave a message for PMU artists in Japan!
日本人アーティストへもメッセージをお願いします。
Dora：I really want to visit you for a Masterclass, I hope I will have the opportunity to do so. I consider it a wonderful country, its culture is amazing, I really want to get to know it. Visiting Japan is on my bucket list.
マスタークラスで日本を訪れたいです。その機会があることを願っています。素敵な国で、文化が素晴らしいことを知っているので、それを実際に体験してみたいです。日本を訪れることはやりたいことリストに入っています。
