アートメイクでのキャリアを始めたきっかけとは？
Michelle：いつも人々のナチュラルで自然な美しさを際立たせることに関心があり、PMUであれば私の目標を達成できると考えました。タトゥーを駆使して、長持ちする仕上がりを提供することで人々の自信を高められるということに共感しました。
アートメイクを通して、一番印象に残ったエピソードは何ですか？
Michelle：クライアントが仕上がりに満足し、自信をつけて帰っていくことです。
その喜びや満足感はとても大きいです。また、私のPMUでの成果が認められると、モチベーションがさらに高まります。
得意分野や、普段の施術で力を入れていることは？
Michelle：リップブラシ、シャドーライナーに力を入れています。
アートメイクにおいて、一番大切だと思うことは何ですか？
Michelle：PMUでもっとも重要なことは、いかに長持ちする自然な仕上がりを生み出せるか、ということにあります。その人の特徴に溶け込むような仕上がりにすることが、私の望む結果です。この「自然な」という要素に着目することが、作りっぽい見た目を回避するためにも非常に重要です。
今後の展望をぜひ教えてください！
Michelle：PMU業界は近年、より一層その認知や制度の改正について進んでいます。これはクライアントとアーティストにとって喜ばしいことで、さらに高いレベルでの練習、衛生面、そして安全性が保証されることでしょう。PMUのプロとして、この基準をさらに高めることで、クライアントのみならず業界全体の評価や成長に貢献したいです。
Next in PMU：おっしゃる通り、今業界では認知の高まりと同時に法律などの整備が進んでいますね。これは業界にとって変化をもたらすきっかけにもなるので、どんどん水準を高めて業界として成長していきたいですね。
若手アーティストと日本人アーティストへのメッセージ
Michelle：プロセスを受け入れて、絶えず練習すること。アートの創作は旅であり、この過程が時間と努力を要することを心に刻んで、進んでください。
覚えていてほしいのは、アーティストとして果たすべき使命は、成長、自己表現、そして探求の3つです。創造することへの楽しみ、練習を惜しまない心、自分への信頼を忘れずに、時間と忍耐、そして自分の技術に対する純粋な情熱があれば、アーティストとして進化し続けられると思います。

Michelle Euw
Dragon Hawk Ambassador and Mara Specialty Distributor, PMU artist with a passion for bringing out the natural beauty of her clients. She has a mission to improve her clients’ confidence through the use of techniques and beautiful, long-lasting results. She pursues a high level of practice with an emphasis on hygiene and safety, and as a PMU professional, she has a vision to contribute to the growth of her clients and the industry as a whole through raising standards.
Why did you decide to pursue this career?
Michelle：I have always been passionate about the art of enhancing natural beauty, and PMU allows me to create something that I’ve always wanted to do. The ability to use tattooing techniques to create long-lasting results and help people feel more confident about their appearance really resonated with me.
What is a moment in your Permanent Makeup journey that was most memorable to you?
Michelle：When clients feel more confident after the permanent makeup and their feedback & gratitude with the results, also when students feel confident right after the course.
I honestly feel the joy and satisfaction.
Also the moment when my work in PMU received recognition or appreciation from someone in the industry or clients it makes me feel more motivated.

Michelle：I focus on Lip blush, Shaded Liner.
What do you think is the most important aspect in Permanent Makeup? Why?
Michelle：In my opinion, the most important aspect in PMU is achieving natural-looking results. Creating enhancements that seamlessly blend with a person’s natural features is my desired result. This emphasis on naturalness ensures that the PMU treatment enhances the client’s appearance without looking fake or overly exaggerated.
Future Prospects of your career as a PMU artist and the PMU industry
Michelle：The PMU industry is experiencing a positive shift towards professional recognition and regulation. This is beneficial for both artists and clients, as it ensures adherence to higher standards of practice, sanitation, and safety.
As a professional PMU artist, I am dedicated to upholding these standards, which not only fosters client trust but also contributes to the overall growth and reputation of the industry.
Next in PMU：As you say, the PMU Industry is now making progress in developing laws and regulations at the same time as increasing awareness of the industry. This can be a chance for the industry to make changes, and I would like to keep raising the standards and grow as an industry.
Message to Beginner Artists & Japanese PMU Artists
Michelle：Embrace the process and practice consistently. Creating art is a journey, and it’s essential to understand that progress takes time and dedication.
Remember, the journey of an artist is about growth, self-expression, and exploration. Embrace the joy of creating, stay dedicated to your practice, and trust in your own artistic voice.
